The History of Just Love Coffee
In the fall of 2009, Rob Webb created roast profiles for seven fair trade, organic coffees and began roasting in a small office space in Murfreesboro, TN. On his second day in business he brought in long-time friend Jason Smith and together they worked to expand the menu and grow the company. Within a few months, Just Love Coffee Roasters had outgrown our quarters and moved into our current spacious location which serves as roasting facility, headquarters, and unique coffee shop with over twenty different coffees on the menu. In early 2011, DJ Smith and Emily Webb came on board, along with full-time barista, Kimberly Franklin.
The Mission of Just Love Coffee
At Just Love Coffee Roasters, our mission is to bring out the unique qualities inherent in each coffee bean. We do this by taking a small-batch artisan approach to all of our specialty coffees. We don’t use automation or computers during the roast process, but instead carefully roast every batch to perfection using smell, sight, sound, touch, and taste. We’re always searching for the best Fair Trade, organic, and shade-grown coffee beans available.
And as passionate as we are about creating outstanding artisan coffees, we are equally passionate about helping those in need. Every delectable cup of Just Love Coffee you drink has a portion of its proceeds go to someone who could use a helping hand. In our first two years of business we have given over $200,000 to adopting families, non-profit organizations, and the arts.
The Coffee of Just Love Coffee
We source only the finest Fair Trade, Direct Trade, organic, and shade-grown coffee beans from the best growing regions around the world. We research the co-ops we work with and are diligent about sustainability. That’s all before the coffee even arrives on the Just Love Coffee doorstep. From there, we inspect the beans and do sample cuppings. Then our master roaster Jason works his magic, taking an artisan approach to create smooth, flavorful, specialty coffees of the highest quality.
